CCBCM’s Community Awards Program is our annual gala held during the month of June when we present deserving young men and women from high schools in Prince George’s County and returning college/university students with $1000 dollar academic scholarships.
We also present the annual Isaac “Ike” Gourdine Memorial Award to a person in the community that represents the ideas and beliefs of Ike Gourdine to improve our schools and make the community a better place to live for everyone.
The CCBM President’s awarded is provided on an annual basis to a member of the organization that has demonstrated outstanding leadership efforts, dedicated service and contributions toward the ideas, goals and overall success of the CCBCM mission.
